We are ideally located in Middelburg Mpumalanga, surrounded by coal mines, a diverse agricultural community and a stainless-steel plant. These aspects have ensured the success of Tools and Things since the late 1990s to this day.

What started out in a garage, very soon evolved into the well-known landmark it is today, now occupying a floor space of 1550m²  which is stocked to the brim.

Due to its unique nature and a vast collection of tools accumulated over the past 25 years, Tools and Things will be difficult to duplicate in other locations. For this reason, we ship our products all over South Africa.

Our founding member qualified as an electrical engineer in 1976 and has more than 40 years’ experience in solving complex engineering problems. This sets the trend at Tools and Things to help customers find the best tools, coupled with great advice.

Our product range includes a wide variety of  tools, switchgear and electrical items for household and industrial use, new and used, big and small, as well as discontinued stock.
